The Le Max 2 is one of LeEco's (formerly known as LeTV) flagship phones, sporting a USB Type-C port that supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 . Let's see how well it works with other Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 charger like the AUKEY PA-T16 Dual-Port USB Wall Charger.

The AUKEY PA-T16 Dual-Port USB Wall Charger is one of the first chargers in the market that supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.  It's designed to be a wall charger and can support charging 2 devices at the same time by plugging them into its 2 USB Type-A ports.

Both USB Type-A ports support Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 which allows Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 enabled phones to rapidly charge using these power profiles: 6-6.5 volts @ 3 amps, 6.5-9 volts @ 2 amps, 9-12 volts @ 1.5 amps.

Here we have monitored the current and voltage levels at different stages of battery charging by using a current probe and oscilloscope.

While charging with the battery at 0% charge, we can observe from the oscilloscope screenshot that voltage is 8.85V and maximum current is 1.11A (providing total power of 9.8W).

With the battery at 25% charge, we can see from the oscilloscope screenshot that voltage is 8.93V and maximum current has decreased to 1.02A.

When the battery is at 50% charge, we can see in oscilloscope screenshot that voltage is 8.97V and maximum current has decreased to 0.90A.

Here is the oscilloscope screen shot with the battery at 75% charge which shows the voltage as 8.91V and maximum current as 0.86A.

The screenshot below shows the voltage and current when the battery is fully charged.

After charging the battery completely, we can observe that it is consuming a current of 600 mA as the Android OS and background applications are active.  If we switch off the phone, it doesn't consume any significant current (<500 mA) when the battery is at full charge.

The following graph shows how the Le Max 2 draws different current levels as the battery charges from zero to full.

The Le Max 2 takes around 1 hour 30 minutes to charge completely while the phone is powered on with the AUKEY PA-T16 Dual-Port USB Wall Charger.
