The RAVPower Xtreme 26800mAh Portable Charger with Type C Port + 30W Type-C AC Charger combo includes a 30 watts USB Type-C AC Charger accessory as well as a portable battery, both of which support USB Power Delivery. We look at how well USB Power Delivery works when this AC charger is used to charge Windows based PC's like the LG gram Touch 15" Laptop (2016) over its USB Type-C port that supports USB 3.1 Gen 1, USB Power Delivery, and DisplayPort.

For starters, the charger accessory advertises its source capabilities of 15 watts (5 volts @ 3 amps), 27 watts (9 volts @ 3 amps), and 45 watts (15 volts @ 3 amps) from which the PC requests only 0.5 watts (5 volts @ 0.1 amps) from the charger accessory which it accepts.

The charger accessory goes on to offer not only three power profiles it initially declared but also an additional power profile of 45 watts (20 volts @ 2.25 amps). The LG gram Touch 15" Laptop (2016) in turn requests to draw 40 watts (20 volts @ 2 amps) which the charger accessory accepts.

However, with the LG gram Touch 15" Laptop (2016)'s battery charge level being already full, we see that the power being drawn is around 2 watts (20 volts @ .1 amps).

We can conclude that the AC charging accessory of the RAVPower Xtreme 26800mAh Portable Charger with Type C Port + 30W Type-C AC Charger  is unable to correctly charge the LG gram Touch 15" Laptop (2016) which the PC was also observed to fail with the portable battery portion of the charger in this review.
