Netatmo Partnerships Enable the Complete Smart Home

European countries have long had high standards regarding making comfortable, energy efficient home and work environments that make the most out of natural sunlight and the environment.  This places many European firms at an advantage when it comes to smart home automation solutions and IoT.  

At CES 2017, France based Netatmo demonstrated its partnership with other European firms Legrand (France) and Velux (Denmark) to show off a suite of full home automation solutions.  Netatmo also works with popular smart home platforms and personal assistants like Apple HomeKit and Amazon Alexa.

Netatmo has a range of home sensor products like the Netatmo Thermostat, Netatmo Weather Station, Netatmo Smart Smoke Alarm, Netatmo Welcome Smart Home Camera, Netatmo Presence Outdoor Video Camera, and Netatmo Healthy Home Coach.

Many of Netatmo products like the Netatmo Smart Smoke Alarm and Netatmo Healthy Home Coach already support Apple HomeKit which allows Siri and your iPhone to program, monitor, and control Netatmo products.  Others like the Netatmo Weather Station support Amazon Alexa.  Some like the Netatmo Thermostat support both Apple HomeKit and Amazon Alexa.

Netatmo also offers complementary products that only work with their sensor products.  For example, the Netatmo Smart Radiator Valve works with the Netatmo Thermostat and is useful in controlling radiator heat output based on the temperature especially in Europe where radiators are common.

Similarly, the Netatmo Indoor Security Siren is also only designed to work with the Netatmo Welcome Smart Home Camera.

Other products like the Netatmo Smart Smoke Alarm have sensor and alarm all built into one design as you would expect from this type of product.

Netatmo's partner Velux demonstrated their Velux Active smart window solutions, allowing you to automatically control roof windows for heat, humidity, ventilation for air quality, and light.

One display from France's La Poste showed the powerhouse France has become in home automation and IoT with such successful companies like Netatmo, Legrand, Parrot, Withings, etc.
