The Samsung Portable SSD T3 allows you to use a secure login to access the drive on any Mac.  To connect the Samsung drive, if you use the Apple MacBook (Early 2015), you can just use a USB Type-C to USB Type-C cable.  Other Mac's with a USB Type-A port can use the USB Type-C to USB Type-C cable that came with the Samsung drive.

To set this up, insert the Samsung drive into the Mac and you will see the unsecured portion of the Samsung drive show up on the Mac Finder as 'Samsung_T3'.

After you open the Samsung drive's folder, you will see 'T3 Security Enabler for Mac.pkg'.  Double click this file to install the T3 Security Enabler application on the Mac.

After the program is installed, select 'Ok' to install the Samsung Portable SSD when prompted.

Once everything is installed, you will see the 'T3 Log in Activator for Mac' Application show up on your Mac's desktop.

You will need to connect the Samsung Portable SSD T3  into the Mac in order to open the 'T3 Log in Activator for Mac' Application (or else you will get the error in the screenshot below).

When you insert the Samsung Portable SSD T3 into the Mac, the drive will actually lose enumeration from the file system once the Samsung security processes take control.  You can ignore the resulting 'Disk Not Ejected Properly' warning.

After a short while, the Samsung Portable SSD program will automatically come up and ask you to set your password.

You can also change the name of the drive.

Once everything is set up, you can start using the drive.

Note because of the Samsung security processes, you can't see any of the USB devices connected to the Mac.

If you reconnect the Samsung drive after setup, a Samsung Portable SSD screen will come up asking you to enter your password.

After you have logged in, you can begin to transfer files in and out of the Samsung Portable SSD T3 to the Mac.

To remove the Samsung Portable SSD T3 from the Mac, remember to first eject the drive from the Finder window.

Once you have set up the Samsung Portable SSD T3 on the Mac, you can securely access it using the same password on any other Mac, PC, and Android device.  This Samsung drive works well with the Apple MacBook (Early 2015),
