The Innergie PowerGear USB-C 45 packaging shows that it supports the various power profiles- 45 watts (20 volts @ 2.25 amps or 15 volts @ 3 amps), 36 watts (12 volts @ 3 amps), or 15 watts (5 volts @ 3 amps).

The LG G5 seems to have problems with a variety of USB Power Delivery based chargers (see problem with Anker and iVoler chargers) and doesn't charge as fast as it should with the Innergie PowerGear USB-C 45 as well.

Using Granite River Labs USB Power Delivery test software, we can see that the Innergie PowerGear USB-C 45 supports 15 watts (5 volts @ 3 amps) and 36 watts (12 volts @ 3 amps) 45 watts (15 volts @ 3 amps) and 45 watts (20 volts @ 2.25 amps) power profiles over the USB Type-C connector.

The LG G5 only requests 15 watts (5 volts @ 3 amps) from the Innergie PowerGear USB-C 45.

However, the actual current pulled by the LG G5 from the Innergie PowerGear USB-C 45 is only about 0.098 amps.

Once I plug in the Innergie PowerGear USB-C 45 into the LG G5, the LG G5 shows that the connected charger is incompatible with this phone.

You can see that the LG G5 takes more than 6 hours to charge fully with the Innergie PowerGear USB-C 45
