The Gear Fit2 by Samsung boasts the latest sports band from the venerable South Korean tech giant, touting it as one of their best fitness trackers. This wearable is a cross between a fitness band and a smartwatch with a built-in GPS.

It is compatible with Samsung Galaxy smartphones running Android 4.3 and above with minimum 1.5GB RAM, as well as non-Samsung devices on minimum Android 4.4 with 1.5GB RAM. Not only does the Gear Fit2  provide standard features like counting your steps and monitoring calorie and heart rate as with most fitness tracking devices, it also has HR, Accelerometer, Gyro and Barometer sensors to auto-track your workouts.

Sporting a 1.5" Touch Curved Super AMOLED display, the Gear Fit2 comes in blue, black or pink and is equipped with Bluetooth 4.2, 802.11b/g/n WiFi and powered by the Tizen OS. It also packs in 512 MB RAM with a 4GB storage capacity and a 200mAh battery.

Following up from the Samsung Gear Fit, the Gear Fit2 promises to be a better upgrade and work well with a wide range of smartphones.
