The Beats Pill and Pill Plus deliver a punch despite their small size.  Take them anywhere you go to enjoy the beat with your friends.  

You can easily pair smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge to the Beats Pill and Pill Plus.  Not only can you use Bluetooth to play songs from your Galaxy to the Pill but you can also use the USB Type-A port on the Pill to charge your phone it's playing.

The Galaxy S6 Edge works well with both the original Beats Pill (if you can still get your hands on it) as well as the second generation Pill.

If you want a bigger punch, get the Beats Pill+.  The Pill+ is the newest model with Beats as part of Apple and accordingly beautifully designed.  It provides a lot more sound and battery capacity than it's predecessors and fortunately still works well with the Galaxy S6 Edge despite being part of Apple.

 

To connect the Beats Pill or Pill+ over Bluetooth with the Galaxy S6 Edge, first hold down the 'b' button for several seconds so that the button starts slowly blinking.  Next go to the Galaxy's Bluetooth Settings and select the Pill model to pair.

Once paired, you can use the Pill as an audio speaker, but it can also act as a speaker phone (with microphone) if you receive a call.

Interestingly enough, if you have two different Beats Pill models connected, you can set one model to act as the audio speaker ('Connected for media audio') and the other model to act as your speaker phone ('Connected for call audio').
