The Marsboy 2 USB 3.0 Type-C Charging Hub does not properly support USB Power Delivery but it does a few tricks to make pass-through charging work with the Apple 29W USB-C Power Adapter and Apple MacBook (Early 2016).

Using software from Granite River Labs, first we look at the USB Power Delivery negotiation between the Marsboy 2 USB 3.0 Type-C Charging Hub and the Apple 29W USB-C Power Adapter.

The Apple 29W USB-C Power Adapter declares it can provide 12 watts (5 volts @ 2.4 amps) and 29.6 watts (14.8 volts @ 2 amps).

The Marsboy 2 USB 3.0 Type-C Charging Hub then requests 14.8 volts @ 2 amps from the Apple 29W USB-C Power Adapter.

If we then look at the USB Power Delivery protocol traffic between the Marsboy 2 USB 3.0 Type-C Charging Hub and Apple MacBook (Early 2016), we then see the Marsboy 2 USB 3.0 Type-C Charging Hub offers 14.8 volts @ 1.5 amps.  However, the protocol negotiation doesn't appear to be that stable all the time but charging appears to be working with the Apple MacBook (Early 2016) and only with the Apple 29W USB-C Power Adapter.  Other USB Power Delivery based chargers that we've tested doesn't work with the Marsboy 2 USB 3.0 Type-C Charging Hub.

We can see the Marsboy 2 USB 3.0 Type-C Charging Hub provides 14.8 volts @ 1.26 amps to the Apple MacBook (Early 2016)

The Marsboy 2 USB 3.0 Type-C Charging Hub is an example of a product that uses standard interface technologies but only seems to work with the Apple MacBook (Early 2016) and Apple 29W USB-C Power Adapter.
