The AC Charger ACU-TC34ADK by Ozuma provides 15 watts of charging over USB Type-C through setting CC lines at certain voltage levels without any active USB Power Delivery based protocol communications. Let's see how this charger works with the Google Pixel 2 XL phone which supports USB Power Delivery 2.0 for fast charging over USB Type-C.

After the AC Charger ACU-TC34ADK was plugged in to the Google Pixel 2 XL on a fully depleted battery, it took about 120 minutes overall for the phone to charge completely with the Ozuma charger. This is surprisingly much faster than using the Pixel 2's supplied 18W charger with the phone.

Initially, the AC Charger ACU-TC34ADK started off delivering around 15 watts to the Google Pixel 2 XL but after the phone has charged a bit, it pulled around 13 watts from the Ozuma charger. After 50 minutes of charging, the current ramped down to about .3 amps as the battery was almost full. Click  here to download the trace captured by the GRL-A1 power analyzer to see more details.
