Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge has capabilities of wirelessly displaying its screen to devices like the Samsung UBD-K8500 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Player. The Samsung UBD-K8500 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Player is best known for its ability to play 4K Blu-ray disks over HDMI 2.0 to 4K TV's but it can also wirelessly mirror your phone's screen using Miracast technology.
To wirelessly display your Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge to the Samsung UBD-K8500 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Player, first select Screen Mirroring on the Blu-ray player's main screen.
To start a wireless display connection from your Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, you can swipe down from the top of the screen and select Quick Connect. Once there, you can select Scan for nearby devices.
You should be able to then see '(AV) Samsung Ultra HD Blu-ray' on the Select device window which you can select to begin the wireless screen mirroring process.
If you don't find the Blu-ray player, you may need to connect the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and Samsung UBD-K8500 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Player to the same WI-FI network.
Once the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is connected to Samsung UBD-K8500 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Player, you see the connection in the Quick Connect menu.
You should be able to then see your Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge's screen on the TV that is connected to the Samsung UBD-K8500 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Player.
Samsung UBD-K8500 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Player is great for 4K@60hz Blu-ray videos but don't expect the same video quality using Miracast technology. While fine for casual browsing, sharing photos, or watching quick videos, Miracast has more pixelation and lag which makes watching movies and shows less enjoyable.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge was able to wireless display and mirror its screen to the Samsung UBD-K8500 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Player using Miracast technology without any major problems.
