You can use the Plugable Thunderbolt 3 Dual DisplayPort Adapter with the Dell XPS 12 9250 2-in-1 Laptop to attach two external DisplayPort displays like the LG 27 inch Class Ultra HD IPS 4K 27UD88-W Monitor and an ASUS PQ321 31.5-Inch 4K Monitor.

Once you insert the Plugable Thunderbolt 3 Dual DisplayPort Adapter into the Dell XPS 12 9250 2-in-1 Laptop, you will get a Window that pops up informing you that 'New Thunderbolt devices have been attached'.

After entering your PC's administrative password, you will see another pop-up titled 'Approve Thunderbolt Devices'.

If you don't want to keep on seeing the 'New Thunderbolt devices have been attached' pop-up, select 'Always Connect'.

In the Windows System Tray there is also a Thunderbolt icon which if you select, will show the Plugable Thunderbolt 3 Dual HDMI Adapter enumerated with the Dell XPS 12 9250 2-in-1 Laptop's Thunderbolt controller.

The best way to set up the 4K TV's on the Dell XPS 13 9350 Laptop is to go to Control Panel -> Appearances and Personalization -> Display -> Screen Resolution and select 'Advanced settings'.

The 'Generic PnP Monitor and Intel HD Graphics 520 Properties' window will come up (although it might be hiding behind another window).

If you select the 'Intel HD Graphics Control Panel', you can then select the 'Graphics Properties' button.

The Intel HD Graphics Control Panel will then come up and is a more convenient way to manage your displays.

One thing immediately that you will notice when you first connect the Plugable Thunderbolt 3 Dual DisplayPort Adapter to the Dell XPS 12 9250 2-in-1 Laptop, only one external DisplayPort monitor will display while the laptop's own display is on.

Only either the LG 27 inch Class Ultra HD IPS 4K 27UD88-W Monitor or the ASUS PQ321 31.5-Inch 4K Monitor will turn on at one time with the Dell XPS 12 9250 2-in-1 Laptop

To rectify this problem, you need to select the Multiple Displays screen in the Intel HD Graphics Control Panel.

From here you can change one of the Active Displays from the Built-In Display to one of the external displays so that both the LG 27 inch Class Ultra HD IPS 4K 27UD88-W Monitor and the ASUS PQ321 31.5-Inch 4K Monitor are set up as Active Displays.

Both the LG 27 inch Class Ultra HD IPS 4K 27UD88-W Monitor and ASUS PQ321 31.5-Inch 4K Monitor can be set up at 4K (3840 X 2160)@60hz resolutions.

Note that using this configuration, the Collage Display Mode option didn't become available, meaning you can't combine the two displays into a single desktop screen.

Unfortunately after playing around with connecting the Plugable Thunderbolt 3 Dual DisplayPort Adapter to the Dell XPS 12 9250 2-in-1 Laptop, we've been able to replicate an issue where the laptop just freezes, the internal display is powered but is blank, and no signals are sent to the external displays.  In this state the Dell XPS 12 9250 2-in-1 Laptop is unable to even power down even after holding down the power button.  Only after connecting the Dell charger that came with the Dell XPS 12 9250 2-in-1 Laptop are you able to sometimes fully shut down the machine by holding down the power button.  In general, using the Plugable Thunderbolt 3 Dual DisplayPort Adapter seems to introduce instability to the Dell XPS 12 9250 2-in-1 Laptop and the Intel HD Graphics Control Panel often crashes.

After we sent the Dell XPS 12 9250 2-in-1 Laptop to the Microsoft Store to get fixed and updated the BIOS, drivers, Thunderbolt firmware, and Thunderbolt software, we tried using the XPS 12 with the Plugable Thunderbolt 3 Dual DisplayPort Adapter and no longer found the instability issues described above.
