The HP Chromebook 13 G1 is HP's higher end Chromebook designed more for business and professional users (click here for pricing on Amazon).  Because it is Google Chrome based, the HP Chromebook 13 G1 should be able to easily cast content to a Google Chromecast (2015).

To use the Chromebook with the Google Chromecast (2015), first make sure the Chromecast Dongle is powered through a USB connection and connected to a TV like the Hisense 50H7C 50 Smart 4K Ultra HD Ultra Smooth Motion 120 LED UHDTV via its HDMI port.

Assuming the TV is powered on and correct HDMI input is selected, you should see the Chromecast startup window.

If the Google Chromecast (2015) is not already set up on the same local Wi-FI network your HP Chromebook 13 G1, you can reset it by holding down the button and setting it up again.

Here is how you can setup the Google Chromecast (2015) after factory reset using HP Chromebook 13 G1. Once you factory reset Google Chromecast (2015), you should see the following screen.

Now, from your HP Chromebook 13 G1, open the latest version of Google Chrome browser and go to chromecast.com/setup

Click on setup your Chromecast using this computer from the bottom.

Now, select your Google Chromecast (2015) device from the list, click Set me up, and agree to the privacy and terms.

Make sure that the code you see on your HP Chromebook 13 G1 matches the code that is displayed on Hisense 50H7C 50 TV by the Chromecast Dongle

You can then set a name for your Chromecast Dongle and configure the network for your Chromecast Dongle.

Once the Chromecast Dongle is ready, you should be able to see this screen on your Hisense 50H7C 50 TV.

Now you can switch to your HP Chromebook 13 G1 again and connect to the Chromecast Dongle from the bottom right corner.

Click on Cast Devices available and select the corresponding Google Chromecast (2015).

Once you have the below screen, the HP Chromebook 13 G1 is connected to the Google Chromecast (2015).

You should now be able to see your HP Chromebook 13 G1 screen wirelessly mirrored on the Hisense 50H7C 50 Smart 4K Ultra HD connected through the Google Chromecast (2015)

We also tested the Google Chromecast (2015)'s casting capabilities by streaming Youtube.

The image quality was slightly pixilated and we observed an audio lag between the video played on HP Chromebook 13 G1 and the one on Hisense 50H7C 50 Smart 4K Ultra HD

Apart from the audio lag, the HP Chromebook 13 G1 works well with Google Chromecast (2015) on Hisense 50H7C 50 Smart 4K Ultra HD Ultra Smooth Motion 120 LED UHDTV.
