NewerTech NuPower 60W USB-C Power Adapter is sold by macsales.com primarily for Mac's but it can also be used for other USB Power Delivery based devices.

The NewerTech NuPower 60W USB-C Power Adapter supports USB Power Delivery charging over its USB Type-C port up to 60W. We will observe how well this third party charger supplies power to the Google Pixel phone which is also USB Power Delivery enabled.

The USB Power Delivery negotiations initially show that the NewerTech NuPower 60W USB-C Power Adapter constantly declares its source capabilities of 15 watts (5 volts @ 3 amps), 27 watts (9 volts @ 3 amps), 45 watts (15 volts @ 3 amps), and 60 watts (20 volts @ 3 amps).

After a hard reset is done, the Google Pixel finally requests to pull 15 watts (5 volts @ 3 amps) which is accepted by the charger.

While the Google Pixel is being charged on a fully drained battery, the current can be seen to charge to around 3 amps at 5 volts before dropping to about 1.5 amps and then goes down steadily when charging almost completes which takes less than 98 minutes.

It's good to see the NewerTech NuPower 60W USB-C Power Adapter can charge non-Apple based products like the Google Pixel using USB Power Delivery technology.
