The PowerGear USB-C 45 by Innergie is a convenient AC power adapter to bring on your travels which can be used to charge most USB Type-C devices supporting the USB Power Delivery like the Le Max 2.
To see what goes on when the Innergie PowerGear USB-C 45 charges the Le Max 2, we use the software from Granite River Labs to capture the USB Power Delivery Protocol transactions.
The power adapter claims that it can support 4 different power profiles: 15 watts (5 volts @ 3 amps), 36 watts (12 volts @ 3 amps), 45 watts (15 volts @ 3 amps) and 45 watts (20 volts @ 2.25 amps) over the USB Type-C connector.
Meanwhile the Le Max 2 only requests 15 watts (5 volts @ 3 amps) of charging from the power adapter.
We can also see that the phone pulls an actual current of around 2.64 amps from the power adapter.
Overall, the Le Max 2 takes less than an hour and 30 minutes to charge completely using the Innergie PowerGear USB-C 45.
