We have used SanDisk's Connect Wireless Stick with iPhones, Android devices, Apple Macs, and Chromebooks, so the last large untested territory lies within that of Windows. The Dell XPS 12 is a perfect example of a device that would benefit from the Connect. Because it is can be used as a tablet, there aren't any USB Type-A ports to connect a ubiquitous USB flash drive. As such, to connect the XPS 12 to most external memory storage devices, you need to use a USB Type-C to Type-A connector which may not always be available. This is where the Connect Wireless Stick comes in. First, we turn on the drive, and gain access to its network.

Entering http://sandisk.com/wfd/ into the Internet Explorer browser's URL address bar allows us to access the following page:

Here we can venture into the videos folder since that has a sizable file.

Right clicking "Save target as" allows us to download the file.

Unfortunately at this point we somehow got connected to the wrong WI-FI network, so when we clicked "Save target as" it only gave us the option of saving a text document.

After reconnecting to the SanDisk network we were able to download the video file as a video file.

The file was downloaded almost instantly and the effective range of the stick seems to be better than in previous reviews.

Something we realized this time around was that when you upload a file to the Connect that has the same file name as a file already on the drive, it will simply overwrite it without any prompts indicating that they were named the same. Most of the time this would not be an issue, but it is still a safety check that most other storage devices do implement.
