The AUKEY PA-T8 10-Port USB Charging Station has a total of ten USB Type-A ports, two of which are orange and support Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and the rest being green which support AUKEY's own branded AiPower charging.

Like the AUKEY PA-T16 Dual-Port USB Wall Charger and the AUKEY CC-T7 Car Charger, the AUKEY PA-T8 10-Port USB Charging Station's orange USB Type-A ports uses Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 to support the following power profiles: 6-6.5 volts @ 3 amps, 6.5-9 volts @ 2 amps, 9-12 volts @ 1.5 amps.

We used the Tektronix Oscilloscope to measure the Current and voltage and Fluke 59 MAX IR Thermometer to measure the surface temperature of the phone while charging.

When charging the battery at 0% charge, we can observe from the oscilloscope screenshot that voltage is 8.9V and maximum current is 1.7A.

With the battery at 25% charge, we can see from the oscilloscope screenshot that voltage is 6V and maximum current has decreased to 1.7A

When the battery is at 50% charge, we can observe from the oscilloscope screenshot that voltage is 6.1V and maximum current is decreased to 0.97A

Here is the oscilloscope screen shot with the battery at 75% charge which shows the voltage as 6.1V and maximum current as 0.97A.

You can see below screenshot that the LG G5 is drawing less than 1 amp when the battery is fully charged.

The following graph shows how the LG G5 draws different voltage and current levels as the battery charges from zero to 100%. Until 80% charge, the AUKEY PA-T8 10-Port USB Charging Station is providing a range of 10 to 15 watts to the LG G5 with it's Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 port.

We can also monitor the temperature of the LG G5 using a Fluke thermometer and see the temperature stay in the 30.2 to 33.6 C range.

The LG G5 takes around 1 hour 10 minutes to charge completely while the phone is powered on with the AUKEY PA-T8 10-Port USB Charging Station's Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 port.

Now, using the green AiPower port, let's see how the charging behavior changes with the LG G5.

The following graph shows how the LG G5 draws different current levels as the battery charges from zero to full.  The AiPower port provides about 6.7 watts for charging the LG G5 while the battery is less than 80%, which is a lot less than the 15.4 watts observed when using the orange Quick Charge port.

With less power provided, the LG G5 takes around 1 hour 40 minutes to charge completely while the phone is charged with the AiPower adaptive charging port compared to the 1 hour 10 minutes observed when charging using the orange Qualcomm Quick Charge port.

As expected the orange Qualcomm Quick Charge port charges the LG G5 much faster when compared to using the green AiPower port of the  AUKEY PA-T16 Dual-Port USB Wall Charger .  Of course, if the Qualcomm Quick Charge port is being used to charge another Qualcomm Quick Charge compatible phone, you can still use the other port to charge your LG G5.
