Xiaomi's MI 20000 mAh Power Bank allows you to charge a couple devices at the same time which is ideal for those on the go where you don't have immediate access to AC wall power outlet.  the  It MI 20000 mAh Power Bank and ridiculously inexpensive and claims support of charging the Apple MacBook (Early 2015) by using a USB Type-A to Type-C cable. 

Here we look more closely at how well the MI 20000 mAh Power Bank charges the Apple MacBook (Early 2015).

Let's start charging while the Apple MacBook (Early 2015) battery is at 3%.  Here we observed that the Apple MacBook (Early 2015) drew 8.6 watts (4.8 volts @ 1.8 amps) from the MI 20000 mAh Power Bank at 75%.  This is a far cry from the 29 watts that you can get from the Apple 29W USB-C Power Adapter so expect a much slower charge rate.

When charging the Apple MacBook (Early 2015) while the MacBook is shut down, we can see the MI 20000 mAh Power Bank again providing 8.6 watts (4.8 volts @ 1.8 amps) while the power bank is at 75%. 

When the Apple MacBook (Early 2015) is in sleep mode, we can again see the MI 20000 mAh Power Bank providing 8.6 watts (4.8 volts @ 1.8 amps) while the power bank is at 75%. 

MI 20000 mAh Power Bank takes close to 6 hours to fully charge Apple MacBook (Early 2015).  Note since the MacBook doesn't support Qualcomm Quick Charge, don't expect any fast charging.
