The Marsboy 2 USB 3.0 Type-C Charging Hub does not properly support USB Power Delivery, making pass-through charging not work correctly when used with the dodocool 30W USB Type-C PD Charger and HP Chromebook 13 G1.
Using software from Granite River Labs, first we look at the USB Power Delivery negotiation between the Marsboy 2 USB 3.0 Type-C Charging Hub and the dodocool 30W USB Type-C PD Charger. It's a pretty short conversation with no power contract successfully established.
If we then look at the USB Power Delivery protocol traffic between the Marsboy 2 USB 3.0 Type-C Charging Hub and HP Chromebook 13 G1, again we don't see any proper negotiation happening.
Without any successful USB Power Delivery power contract established, the Marsboy 2 USB 3.0 Type-C Charging Hub is unable to pass-through charging from the dodocool 30W USB Type-C PD Charger to the HP Chromebook 13 G1.
